Florida Elopement - Fort De Soto - Brooke & Brittany
Brooke and Brittany are by far the goofiest couple I have ever had the pleasure of photographing. The first thing they ever told me was; we want something different.! We don’t want our photos to be like every other wedding photos. We want something unique to us. So I went to work sending them sample pictures trying to find their vibe and exactly what they want. Brittany and Brooke are silly, high energy and full of life and I wanted their pictures to reflect that. They spend every weekend at the beach or outdoors with their many pets… 5 to be exact! They told me they want as few pictures of them kissing as possible(as a wedding photographer that made me nervous. That’s like most the photos I take!) Well, I made that happen and I could not be more ecstatic about the results!
On June, 30th, 2022 Brooke and Brittany went down to the courthouse for an intimate ceremony. Afterwards we met up at the Fort De Soto dog beach with their 2 dogs; Apollo and Avenger to immortalize this incredible day. Their dogs were so full of energy and were 100% more interested in the water than they were in me. So we had to rush to grab a few pictures of everyone dry before the pups dove right into the ocean. Then we took a few pictures with family and friends. Since I knew they are so goofy (and honestly would not be happy with just standard smiling pictures) I made sure to give them so different ideas as well as bust out a few of my dad jokes. After the family photos we got to have some fun! They just starting running around with their pups and I captured the craziness! They are so adventurous we found a random mangrove and they immediately started climbing it and asked me to capture everything. I loved it! I barely had to pose them; I only had to capture their energy and charisma. After that it was time for the dogs to go home and we went to get that one kissing photo in front of the sunset. Of course most of the time they were just laughing! We finished off the session with everyone splashing each other in the water. It was a perfect day and I hope I truly captured that with my photos.
